No. All image cropping happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device. You can verify this by using the tool with your internet disconnected.

What aspect ratio presets are available?

The tool includes Free (unconstrained), 1:1 (square), 16:9 (widescreen), 4:3 (standard display), and 3:2 (classic photo) aspect ratio presets. You can also enter exact pixel dimensions manually.

What is the maximum image size I can crop?

There is no hard limit, but very large images (over 50MP) may cause your browser to slow down since all processing happens client-side. For best performance, keep images under 10,000 x 10,000 pixels.

Should I download as PNG or JPEG?

PNG preserves full quality and supports transparency, making it ideal for screenshots, graphics, and logos. JPEG produces smaller files and is better for photographs. Use the quality slider to balance JPEG file size and quality.
